A good year round sport would be ice skating. It's indoors (usually) and you can plan around your scheldule. Because it's not a team sport. So you can go whenever you want. It's really great for staying fit even if all you do is skate around the rink. And some rinks even offer off ice classes or power skating classes which can really give you a good workout!

I agree, snowboarding keeps you fit in the season when you aren't playing sports. It keeps your butt and legs really toned and your abs and obliques tight. Hope that didn't sound too stupid. Another thing to do is get a gym pass and set up a routine for every other day. You can also ski, if that's more fun. You should try a little bit of everything, and whichever you like more, you should stick with it all season long. I hope you like boarding!
