The thing that we must remeber is that the bible may be corrupt. There is significant proof for the bible being selectively edited and this could mean that a lot of it isn't true. Also Evolution seems a much better theory. It is more believable and we have more proof for it. I hope this answers ur question.

Since Eve was not a duplicate of Adam, she was not a clone by any definition of the word. You might be able to argue that she was the 1st to benefit from a form of a organic donors program.

The story of Adam and Eve cannot be taken literally. It does not make any scientific sense.
If she was truly taken from Adam's rib, she would've had the same genetic material as him. She would have been his identical twin, or clone. Which means she would also have had the XY chromosomes. That is simply not possible.

Simply God ordain the creation of Eve from Adam. Even though there are benefits with stem cell research. But knowing how bonehead humans are, this will blow up on our face.
Human cloning is only going to benefit the Rich when they want to design there perfect baby. If u think self esteem issue is bad now, wait when u see Paris Hilton's granddaughter.

Man did not clone man. Besides, Adam wasn't really "cloned". Part of him became a different person.

adam and eve did not exist. the fuss is all about the unethical nature of research into this area of science. should we be able to create a human life by any other means than incubation of a fertilised egg by a female ? what would the psychological effects of such an artificial creation be on the person that resulted ? what would their position in society be ? equal ? superior ? inferior ? to natural born people ?

well, it was god that cloned Eve, so I guess that these scientists are seen as playing God, which to religous people would be highly unetical and truly blasphemus. So a bit of a touch subject yeah.
Being a non religous sort myself I tend to believe the evolution theory more than the creation one anyway.
I'm all for stem cell research, but cloning actual fully grown humans, that's a bit crazy really

as others have said, that is not cloning
even cloning experiments, the results are not "true" clones (if you really want to be picky)
