if there was a kid that was always picked on that u felt very bad for and if u helped him u would lose your popularity and only he/she would like u.Would u do it?

Long time ago for me, but I actually did that. I had a moment of confrontation when I could've chosen to be with the "in" crowd or the outcasts, and I chose the latter. In those days I sometimes regretted it, but now I treasure the memory of the friendships I made, some of which continue to this day. I chose the better class of people.

Yes. I would absolutely help him. Who cares about the popular kids?! You'll regret it when you're older, trust me. There's some people I wasn't too nice to in high school and I feel really bad about it now. Make friends with the boy and don't worry about what anyone else says or thinks. You'll feel better about yourself in the long run. :)

If you were shunned for helping a person, then does it really matter about your popularity? You need to do what is right for you. If you are more worried about your popularity then you have your answer. My answer is to be friends with everyone and not worry about what others think. When you become an adult it doesn't matter who you and are you going to be friends with those same kids as you are now? probably not!

I'm very empathetic in many situations. I would certainly help the kid out simply because that's what I'd expect from another person. Treating somebody in a bad way is very disrespectful.

Chances are, the outcomes wouldn't be that extreme, so I would definately do it. If you lost your popularity because you helped someone, I wouldn't want to be popular. I am sure that that one kid would respect you more than any of the other people combined! Good Luck! :)

Yes. I always try to stand up for the underdog. I don't care much about popularity, and if that would ruin my popularity,then they really weren't such good friends anyhow. Now were they?

I'll help, its the right thing to do and it feels good to help.. being popular in highschool has nothing to do with being successful in the future.

yeah i would in fact in high school i did and became known as a bad *** cause i took on the hole softball team they were beatin on a 6th grader after that i had all the friends in the world nobody would mess with me either
