as far as I know any medal winner in olympic games recieved a mascot of the said olympic games. I wonder that beijing 2008 olympic games had 5 mascot. will the athelete recieve all 5 mascots? or just only once? or how many?

on entering the athletes village each athlete is usually given a mascot(s) in their room with their equipment (uniforms) by their Country and Sports Council. On winning a medal they'll get another presented on the podium. The could get more if after winning like track & field events they are thrown to them from the stadium.

I dont understand that call of this guy or woman yet become'nt their a weightlifter who stop after in basic terms recieveing a bronze medal, i think of he merely left it on the floor and walked off in huff.
