you can't really control who you love or don't love .... and love comes in different aspects ....if your love is real.. then no matter what you will always love that person in some way shape or form ... if it isn't real .. you will know that too .. because .. once the romance wheres off .. that is when you find out if you loved them or not ...

it took me three and a half years to move on probably and that's only because i started dating someone else after three years of splitting up.
My advice is to start to date other people and after a while you'll find that someone else will become special to you and will replace the thoguhts in your mind. Your still think about the other person and maybe he'll ask you back and believe me it will feel so good to say "no sorry, i'm in love with someone else" and you'll mean it.

Start by saying that you dont love the person,and accept that you will not love/him at all.

now that you realize he doesn't love you, the next step is accepting that fact within your head - keep the fact that he doesn't love you in your head, sometimes you have to say it out loud and eventually you can move on.

the best way to get over someone is to get under someone.I heard that in a movie.It means move on.
