IPOD help,music libraries?

Question

I had to do a system restore to my computer. The music that is on my ipod isnt in my itunes library now. How can i get the songs on my ipod back into my itunes librry? Help please.

Use a freeware program called iDump. With it you can add all of the songs on your ipod back to your computer. You can get the program here;

It's tricky in this scenario... You have to buy a software program called something like "X-Copy". The reason: Once you've installed your itunes software on your computer, and then hook up your ipod, the computer will erase all that is on your ipod because it doesn't match whats on your hard drive (which is nothing now)... Put simply, you have to let your computer know that your transferring songs from your ipod to your hard drive. The only way to do that is with the $30 software program -- ITunes doesn't let you "steal" music... -- which is why the software comes in handy... Good luck

umh.. thats tough luck.. you most likely lost all your music from your computer.. search for *.m4a files.. on our computer if you dont find anything.. then you have lost your library while restoring your computer.. you cant move music back to itunes from ipod it is protected because of copyright issues.. there are third party softwares which you can use.. to backup your music..

do a search on google to load tunes from your ipod back to your library. I had to do this with my wife's ipod. I used a tool, I think called ipodcopy.
