I am trying to remember, but it has been a long time since the last beer in Ireland. I would be grateful if some irish citizen may recall me the name of the pub over the cliff in Howth.
I met there some nice guys. Specially a boy from Scotland who had a black dog.

I am sorry, but I would swear that my boy from Scotland was called Allan, or maybe Alain(like Alain Delon, maybe), he looked like Bono in his years of The Joshua Tree, long hair...
and the dog was a beatiful black wolf dog...

There's only one pub at the summit called the summit inn. It doesn't exactly hang over the cliff though. If you think you will remember the name when you see it, try looking up pubs in Howth in www.goldenpages.ie

Was it the Summit? There was a pub called that in Howth but I don't know if it was over the cliff.

the pub at the top is called the summit inn, and the one that hung over the cliff was called the asgard, but its gone now there are new apts there.
