I always thought it was illegal and I know its not allowed on Ebay. I recently saw a store that is advertising this and I wanted to know for sure. I have no idea where you would get this info. I have a great connection to do this if it is legal.

It is most definitely illegal. The type of store you are talking about has merchandise that looks very close to a high end product, but it doesn't carry logo, they run close to but not over the law and they make a lot of money because their merchandise is not worth what you will pay for it. When you try to pass it as real you can go to jail as you should.

its only illegal if u sell w/the intent 2 deceive the customer by saying its the real thing, or that u're an authorized reseller. ebay and other online auctions will allow it if u're not selling as a retailer, but as an individual w/1 or 2 items. u can always sell the real thing as used. hope that helps.

It is illegal if there are and logos or trademarks used and may also be illegal if the knock off copies a trademarked style.

Companies are aggressively tracking down sellers of fake brands.

The old saying "If it sounds to good to be true it probably is" holds true. And to my knowledge it is not illegal to sell "knockoffs" as long as they are not advertised as the real thing.

"Counterfeit merchandise is a serious criminal problem, although at first glance buying illegal goods may seem harmless, especially when it appears to be easy to find. Be a good citizen (or visitor) and avoid the stuff."

only if you advertise them as authentic, you can sell replicas but you must state that they are in fact replicas and you cannot use the logo of the trademark owner.
