it is a button on the keyboard that creates a snap shot of whatever is on the computer screen when that button is clicked.. the button is mostly labeled as "PrtScrn"..On laptops it can be found on the top row of keys on the right hand side and on normal qwerty keyboards it will be found over the num pad

Simply put - The Print Screen button (Shown as Prt Sc on your PC/Laptop) is a button on your keyboard for your PC/Laptop if you click it while a computer window it will copy a screen into a screenshot and then you can paste it (CTRL & V) on Word , MS Paint etc. Don't worry it won't print the screenshot onto paper.

If you press it - it will copy the current desktop image as currently displayed on your monitor. If you then go into Paint etc and do a ctrl V it will pase this image accordingly.
It is useful if you want to take snap shots of any errors etc on your PC to send off to your IT administrator / or someone else that could help you with this problem.

Press it, copy it and paste it you will then know from your own efforts of what it will do, experiment with any of the buttons be careful with delete though , always check you do want to get rid of it.
