We might potentially be able to breed with some of the great apes. It's not likely to be possible with orang-utans - despite what Not Einstein Yet says, they are actually the most distantly related of the great apes to humans - or with gorillas, but bonobos and chimpanzees are very closely related to us, and it could well be possible with them. We are unrelated to bears other than us both being mammals - we certainly couldn't breed with them. Animals have to be in the same family to breed, and even then it isn't always possible.

By natural means, the answer is NO. The eggs and sperms of humans do not match with the eggs and sperms of other species. If they meet, they wont fertilize. However, through genetic engineering, it may be possible to insert genes of other species to human genes. This technique is already done in other species. Examples are bacterium genes in plants (BT corn), spider genes in goats ("Biosteel" milk), and jellfish genes in fishes, pigs (glow in the dark fish, fluorescent pigs). So, its also possible to do this technique in humans.

NO! You cannot cross breed different species....too much difference in number of chromosomes.

No! We are too different from even our closest living relatives. But you can incorporate genes from other species into human genes, if you have a hankering to do so.

in britain, scientist wanna breed a human and a cow specie. but it'd only be 0.1% cow and 99.9%human. haha, if it was a female hybrid maybe she'd have more milk :)

Its possible I think? by altering human's or animal's chromosomal number to the same.
