im obsessed with nirvana.. but iv been SO depressed since kurt cobain died.. i feel kinda stupid cause im realy sad..

I still love Nirvana too, yet I was amazed to hear Kurt Cobain earned more than Elvis this past year. So you're not the only one........

I feel the same way. Sometimes I think that I am completely pathetic for being so upset about Kurt's death twelve years afterwards. I listen to Nirvana everyday, and sometimes I just enjoy the music, but every once in a while the realization of Kurt's death enters my mind and I become depressed. It is still a hard thing to get over. Kurt was not only a beautiful musician, but a beautiful person. I think that his fans will always miss him. I think you are in the similar position as many others are in. As long as it does not get to the point of suicide, it is okay to be upset about his death. Just try focusing on his life instead. I try to avoid all video clips about his death. Not because I am naive, but because I have seen it before and there is no reason to focus on that part of his life.

I play nirvana every day - my favourite band jointly with radiohead.
I still remember the day when my mate came into my dorm at uni and told me the news. I said "So what?" at the time but now I know what an impact it made.
What songs could you be listening to now if he hadn't killed himself?

I know how you feel. I feel that way about bands that either broke up or had a band member die. Like dissection and pantera. Not exactly nirvana music, but I feel your pain.

cobain was and still is awesome.
i was pretty young when he died, but when i became to realise more about death, and the band, i found it really depressing. i have a copy of his suicide note taped up on my bedroom wall.

no reason to be concerned he was a great singer and not to be cruel but he is now burning in hell do to his lifestyle, very sad!
