Won't run.


Check the pressure. They usually fail with no warning whatever.

got two, a 94 and 95,, wont start if bad, when you turn the key to on, it is supposed to prime, ,you can crawl under and with a test light check the wires,, easy to find , but there are 5 going to the assembly,, 2 for pump and 3 for gauge, I cut a hole in my back panel to get out my pump and ended up buying a racing pump and putting it on my frame, runs alot better, anyhow, when you turn the key on the pump should start up for 2 seconds, then the computer will shut it down if the fuel rail doesnt prime, if you get the light then the pump is bad

Usually when a pump is starting to go bad it will make a loud pitched whistling noise. If this is something you are hearing while it's idling, the pump is on it's way out.
