Tri-cut or Fast flow bottle nipples?

My 9 m/o is still using Playtex slow flow nipples, i have a lot of tri-cut flow, but not sure how they differ from fast flow or which is better for baby. Any info about this would be helpful.

Fast flow with the two or three holes simply because tri cut tend to split alot and break down over time causing your baby to choke when they get to much milk

the tri-cut nipples aer good when you put cereal in the baby'd bottle that way it will come out with no problem.
