Lots of things can be accomplished in the same time. (watch a sitcom, read the paper, walk the dog, shop for groceries....each of these tasks can be done IN about 30 minutes)
Now, if you meant to say How many thing can you do AT the same time? That would depend on your mulit-tasking skills. Having been a truck driver for 19 years, I can tell you that is a career where multitasking is constantly necessary.

Usually 2 or 3 before it gets hard, I can eat, type and listen to/watch TV - this is the best multi-tasking I have come up with so far :)

I hate to multi task. I end up doing a bad job at all. At most I can do 3 things at once.

Right now, I am breathing, masturbating, smoking a cigarette and a bowl, doing yahoo! answers, waiting for my BF, watching the rain, sittiing in the darkness, wondering what I need to pack to go home for Thanksgiving, cooking breakfast, and trying to take over the world!

i can chat w/my gf on d phone w/1 ear while talkin business on another phone w/my other ear, while listening 2 my ipod on both ears, while sending a txt msg w/1 hand while d other hand answering Q's on Y!A..
i think i can do some more but i cnt recall ryt now

physically? 3-5 depending on the complexity of the task. my brain does way more tasks just keeping me alive & healthy
