If it's Ibadan Nigeria, then Naira. Although US$ would spend just as easily. 1 US$ = 128 Naira on average.

Ibadan is the capital of Oyo state in Nigeria; so it's currency would be Niara. Info on the Niara can be found at the site below.

firstly, Ibadan come to term as the largest city in West Africa, it just a capital city of a state in Nigeria, it located in the central part of the western Nigeria.

so definately the currency that will be spending there will be same as in Nigeria which is Naira (N) and kobo (K)
