Yes, a cow's skin could catch fire if they were in a wildfire or something like that. While their hair burns fairly easily, it takes more for their skin to burn. When branding a cow, the hair burns off easily, but the skin underneath it doesn't catch on fire. The scab that results is what you can see as their brand. (Unless you freeze brand, in that case the hair changes color, generally white)

Yes and no.. cow's skin is NOT inflamable but if thrown into a fire, it will burn but ONLY if the existing fire is hot enough
