Yes, but ironically they weren't even together that long. The Rolling Stones are still going strong, even if they do need canes and walkers, and the Stones started out when the Beatles did. For popularity as far as writing, singing and personality, I would go with the Beatles.

They are. Without doubt. They are a band where each member is talented and can easily lead his own band. That's why they did so well. 2nd place will probably go to Queen. Another band where the individual members are geniuses in their own rights.

I miss these bands. The bands nowadays just don't cut it.
