Buffy made two guest appearances in Angel's first season.
Episode 8 - "I Will Remember You"
Episode 19 - "Sanctuary"
Willow made 3 guest appearances (seasons 2 & 4)
Episode 39 - "Disharmony"
Episode 44 - "There's No Place Like Plrtz Glrb"
Episode 81 - "Orpheus"
So that's 5 full-fledged guest appearances. In addition, Buffy makes flashback/cameo appearances in the first season:
Episode 1 - "City of"
Episode 7 - "Bachelor party"
And in the final season, there are two episodes where Buffy sorta-kinda appears, but not really.
Episode 98 - "Soul Purpose"
Episode 108- "The Girl in question"
So it's really 5 but could technically be 7 or 9, depending upon whether you count the vision/flashback scenes or cases where her face isn't seen.
Now if you'll excuse me, I must return to the basement and resume polishing my Star Trek the original series action figures :)
