To supplement the answer above, it is also a big business and financial district. The Canadian Reichman Brothers were a driving force behind its transformation. LOndon Docklands is an area in East London where docks and warehouses used to be located. It was re-vamped in the 80s and 90s and is now a posh residential area favoured by young professionals due to its proximity to the City.
