McCain, because he is more of a moderate than Hillary. I think he would be able to get things done and work with both sides. Hillary is to pre-occupied with her political agenda that she doesn't want to work with anyone that doesn't believe the same thing she does.

i think of he can, yet I even have faith that is a possibility he's not prepared to take. often, a candidate strikes in the direction of the fringes interior the primaries and back to the middle interior the prevalent election, after prevailing over the occasion's base. McCain controlled to win the primaries jointly as putting off his base, meaning he would not could shift to come again to the middle, yet i've got faith he will %. a conservative working mate to solidify his base- that is unlucky for him through fact conservatives might finally come around in my opinion, to attempt to defeat the democratic candidate. shifting removed from the middle, jointly as Hillary or Obama strikes in the direction of that is going to positioned off the independents and moderates sufficient to furnish the democrat an part.

Not sure. McCain said he wants more troops in Iraq which could cost him some votes. Yet, Hillary is very divisive and might alienate key voters. However, she will win in the northeast and California hands down.

mccain for 2 reasons:

1. He has character. I think if he stayed in and Bush didn't play so dirty in 2000, he would have won. he would have easily crushed gore and kerry.

2. imho, we've seen what happens when one party has all the positions of power. in the future, we never want to have both houses and the white house controlled by the same party. i think a perfect balance is a dem senate and house with a repub WH.

Dear lord I pray that is not the choice...but must admit I see this as the more likely possibility. I am a Democrat...It pains me to say this but between those two I'm leaning toward McCain best damn Republican available and I very much respect that man and as much a it pains me to say it Hillary doesn't do it for me.

Nothing against Hillary, for I'm a lady myself. She's a good talker, but I don't think she's ready "for the main event". McCain would get my vote, if it came to that.
