I want to keep a wired system going,so i want to have my desktop wired via ethernet to my b.t. home hub,then a laptop wireless to the home hub.Is it possible to have both wired and wireless running off the same home hub.Thanks

Yes, you can connect wired devices to the wired ports in addition to wireless connections. They can all operate at once on the router. Of course the wired computers ignore any wireless security settings.

a wireless router will have ports in the back to run a wired connection
