I've read some articles about tanning with no eyewear and how much damage it can do to your eyes. But how dangerous is it really? I'm very cautious about my eyes and therefore I always wear eyewear, but I don't wanna look like a racoon! :o/

Yes,but looking like a racoon can't be too bad compared to not being able to see. LA_Scene said it,some things the UV absorbs to,therefore causing more harm than good. Stick to the eyewear.

I'd be careful. UV rays can often go through a lot of things. They even say using some towels over your eyes aren't good because the rays don't reflect, they can get absorbed.

Don't tan at all you will really regret it later when you look so much older with wrinkles
