how do you delete an item from the search bar memory?

I can help you if your using Internet explorer.

This feature is called : auto complete and the text which you get automatically like when hit P you get porn its called : forms

open IE > click tools > internet options > click content tab > click auto complete > click on clear forms & uncheck the options forms and apply the settings then click OK.

if it's later windows operating system left click on Start button lower left of screen, then left click on settings, then left click on task bar and start menu, left click on the advanced tab, then left click on clear ......that should do what you need to clear
