Yes if -x=6 then x=-6

TO get the answer you
-x = 6
Multiply both sides of the equation by -1 and you get x=-6

in an equation if you perform the same operations to both sides, the equation will hold.if -x=6,you multiply both sides by -1 you get x=-6so -x=6 is the same as x=-6

yes...because -x is actually (-1)x, where you can divide both sides by -1 to lose the negative sign in x, and will result to x = -6...trust me, im an engineering student...hehehe...

ya it's true
proof:
-x=6
or, -1*x=6
or, x=6/-1
i.e. x = -6
so simple , bye!
