Anyone can be an influence...in fact, just being with another person makes you an influence of one kind or another. But to be witty or use humor in a way that makes someone who is sad feel better or make people forget their troubles for a little while, is a good influence.
If you are clever enough to use humor to influence people like Mark Twain did for example, to make us not be so serious about ourselves & uplift those around us by humor, then you have a special gift.

The two points you have mentioned are generally seen as a sort of "in Born" qualities. This is not so, in my opinion.
By being Humerous one would mean that one is able to put others in a lighter , enjoyable mental state . many attempt to do this artificially. You may have noticed that 8 out of 10 people see humour only in Sex related jokes.
You can ( as I did) start being humerous by targetting yourself around which humour can be thought of. Many shy away from this for being rediculed. it is not so. If you share one of your foolish act ten others will follow. be humourous about yourself.
Influencing people is altogether another cup of tea! You can start with being very sincere and friendly. You should be easily approacheable to all. You can , in due course , be able to inflence other people with this trait.

Expect to have an intense life, as you will likely be spending it in the company of other strong people. It is possible that you will attend a psychic event, You will be stunned by what you learn about yourself. Though you may have gone to the event on a whim, you leave it a convert

You can't influence people. You are who you are. Tell jokes. that's a way of being humorous. Here is one example. There was this one guy who had such a vulgar and bragging personality. He loved his mountain dew. He remarked one day that mountain dew brings out the animal in him so I said "Yea, the arangutang." I got lots of laughs.
