Yes I do consider myself British, when filing out official documents I always write Brit Scot. I am very proud to be Scottish but just as proud to say I am British.

Gucci Boi's answer made me smile... but then I realised that, as an American (I am assuming he is by the way his answer was phrased), he might be asking a serious question! You see, world geography is clearly not an American strength...
When I was last in the USA, many Americans with whom I discussed Iraq had no idea where it was located in the Middle East... yet their armed forces are busily engaged in that country.
A few years ago, when in Seaside Heights, a little seaside resort about 2 hours south of New York, I and a friend hired bicycles. We stopped at one point and over came two young American boys (15/16 years old). When one of them heard my accent they asked from where I came? "England" I replied. After few moments pause, one then asked, in all seriousness, "What language do they speak in England?"! No wonder some USA university professors are getting a trifle worried about the standard of applicants!
By the way, Gucci Boy... England is that lil ol country that first colonised your part of the world in the 1500s (Lost Colony, 1587, etc.), and more permanently in 1620 (Mayflower, Plymouth Rock, etc.). I bet you remember now!! :- )
PS And to answer the Asker's question - I'm English first, British second. Interestingly, the US immigration authorities do not recognise English as a nationality. Very irritating and actually quite insulting.
