Okay, this is what happened. At high school, i was in a fight with another student who is smaller than me. The fight was broken up after the first punch, and that student hit me and i was injured. Right now, all my friends and classmates thinks i got bashed and even my girlfriend knows about this as well. If i fight him, i might get supsended and since he has more friends then me, i will probably be hated. but on the other hand, if i won, i would get my pride back, and my repetation with my gf woudl go up. so what do you think i should do?

you would get more pride from walking away they will soon forget who cares if they say you got bashed, shrug just reply u win some and lose some...that will leave them stunned..fighting is not the key trust me i have been down that road and all i felt was unhappiness...i think u would be a better person to hold your head high and walk away...that gains not only pride in urself but honor that you did the right thing...in the end it will bring a good result

I know this is a big deal to you right now, but in a few years it will be so insignificant you won't even remember it.
Just let it go. If your friends, including your gf, base their friendship with you on your reputation and whether you fight this guy, then you need to find different friends.

Fighting doesn't solve anything. Thats all you got to know and remember. Who cares what other people think. He is the bully not you.
