Consider for a moment that you are dealing cards. Before distributing the cards you thoroughly mix them up. Now when you start with a new pack it is a perfect arrangement among Spade,Diamond etc. and from l to 10 followed by King, Queen and the Slave. When you mix up the cards this order is broken. The colours are mixed. The ace goes down, ten comes up, the slave precedes the king. And the Spade Queen brushes her body with Diammon King. In short ,so to say, the hell breaks loose. Now why does this happen. It is because of the mixing up. But can you rightfully claim that as the dealer it is you who have brought about all these precise changes? Obviously not. However, at the same time this has not come about for the cards wished it to be so.They are as helpless as you the dealer are. Nevertheless, the change and the precise order in which the cards are rearranged does come about in accordance with strict physical laws. Theiretically, it would be possible for a supercomputer to foretell precisely which card would go where inthe process of dealing. Does this mean it is the super computer that had brought about these changes. Obvously not.In any case the computer is not a free agent and has to be operated by somebody. The physical laws according to which the changes come about are immutable. Can we truthfully say that these laws dictate the fate of the cards. In a non-ideal sense it is so but the laws are so immutable that ,even if they were to be individuals they have no freedom too change the order that comes about in dealing. The laws are as much bound as he car ds and the effect brought about.
Superimposing this similie over human affairs would it be correct to say that there is such a force as Fate which controls human actions. Now normally Fate is considered tobe immutable and no amont of human effort can change it.Leave aside tall claims of swamis and maharajas that they can change Fate.So the Fate would be nothing but a convenient name given to the changes that come about in human lives which cannot reasonalbly be predicted. It is not an independent entity having a place and a name.Adverting to the supecomputer referred to above it may theoretically be possible to predict human actions within a limited scope for the human will is something which can make a travesty of foretelling. But that would amount only to ,like the neutral observer in Goethe's Faust who just watches human actions and cannot stop or interfer in them.
To that limited extent yes, I do believe in fate. Not the popular Fate which is decreed by some god and which we humn cannot change.

I do believe in fate, but I have my own views of what it could represent. For me, fate is like an empty book. You can write whatever you want in it, but you can't choose the material that the book is made of.

as a muslim, i am a really great believer of fate. from what i understand & believe all what's going to happen will.... eventually.
that is not to say that if things are bad or you are ill not to strive to make them better ortreat yourself since the outcome's been already destined... hope that makes sense.
also, i'm not a believer in luck although i acknowledge it's existence.

I suppose the foremost parties: start, marriage, dying, are most likely foreordained. Even matters that appear like injuries are not, despite the fact that it takes plenty of religion to feel that. I got here to the realization lengthy in the past that what now we have essentially the most manage over is what we consume and what sort of we recreation or touch others round us. Sometimes it can be an issue of hours or days or even weeks for targeted matters to occur. We ought to study to move wherein we must pass and do what we must do to support our lives transfer ahead, so target-atmosphere remains to be fundamental. You observe I do not pop out and say I feel in pre-vacation spot, however sure, the essential matters have been deliberate out very cautiously in a time I could check with because the premortal lifestyles, a los angeles Mormon doctrine.

I believe things happen for a reason. people you meet, places you go, all have a message.
But most people don't pick up on those messages.
So yes I believe in fate.
As for making luck. I think it's more a feeling and a Frame of mind.
