we have a shop next to a pet store and it stinks like a bad smell

so far has anyone actually smelled a dead snake

I work at a pet shop and death is pretty much inevitable, between the massive quantities of mice, bad shipments of some animals, things getting loose etc... I've gotten to where I can pinpoint the smell of death very easily and sometimes even identify species (kind of a random talent to have...) As far as describing the smell... It's kinda difficult. If you've ever smelled anything dead before, snake smells pretty much the same... What makes you think it's a snake? Did one get loose and end up in the walls? Might sound kinda gross, but at least with small animals the smell goes away relatively quickly...

Wow that sux im sorry. I had a Leopard gecko for 9 years and it become my first puppy. And while it died i cried for days, and unquestionably all and sundry become like wats the vast deal. It pissed me off soo plenty. >_< yet specific A canine or cat isn't to any extent further significant than a snake! Thats merely those that are close minded and might't settle for a "Non-common" puppy.

It may not be a snake it could be a died rat if anyone has put a trap or poison out and that maybe the result of it. I think if a snake has died they do put out and Oder but it isn't really bad.

Like an animal that died, just like anything else that dies and its even worse if you leave it in the heat.
