I'm just 43 and getting similar stuff happening to me!!
Normally regular as clockwork, however didn't have period for about 6 months, I too knew I was definitely not pregnant (unless it was a miracle lol). I have now had two over the last two months again. I just put it down to the beginning of the menapause, no other symptoms tho.
Thinking about going to the Drs tho as I believe they can do a blood test and tell you if it is, and I guess there could be other reasons so best to get it checked.
Good luck!!

Its quite common to have delayed , late or missed period, worry s always to exclude pregnancy and you seems sure that's not the case. In that case, I would wait for next period , may be 4 weeks and if still you have no period, I recommend seeing your doctor to exclude any medical cause. U r quite young to be menopausal or even perimenopausal but you could be exception.Stress commonly causes missed/late periods, certain medication as well, but your doctor should be able to reassure you or investigate further but I would advice not to panic. The unspoken law says, "u will have ur period on the day of your appointment with your doctor/GP "

My periods started getting erratic at age 43 (i'm now 49). This is probably the start of the peri-menopause. Expect all sorts: scanty period, heavy period, flooding, no period, long gaps between periods, short gaps, phantom period - which is no period but period pains. Don't imagine you can't get pregnant, you most likely could, so be careful. Evenutally things settle down, and you get other symptoms of menopause - all mostly horrible: hot flushes, night sweats, memory loss, moodiness, tiredness, dry vagina, lack of sex drive.
Lots of things can help, so get online and find other peri-menopausal ladies and get help!

A friend of mine had finished her menopause at 39, so it a decided possibility. Although not likely, the chances of something else is what you should consult your GP about, and just to be on the safe side I should do it without delay.

My wife is 50 and for the last few years she has been like you.but she sometimes still has regular periods and sometimes goes 3/4 months without.
It has cost a fortune and lots of worry with pregnancy tests .
I can't wait till she stops completely we don't want anymore kids the last one was 14 years ago we are ready to be grandparents at least we can just look after them for the odd day n night.

I think you are a little young to be starting the menopause. Stress, diet, over work can all have strange effects on your period.

Go and see your GP! It could be the start of your menopause, but have it checked out asap.
