My heating was working ok ... I decided to flush out system before winter I started draining then the draining stopped ....and the tank in the loft was not emptying now I cannot refill or drain the water does this mean I have a blockage...if so how can I un block it

Is the water turned on to the tank, this has to be on all the time, the valve going to the tank may be plugged or isn't working. Follow it through from the water supply to the tank. make sure you remember what your doing, it's really simple.
Your water has to be on, the tank valve may be plugged, the tank exit valve may not be working. Watch for pressure, be careful.

valve must be blocked shut off then turn back on see if that fixes sometimes opening and closing will do the trick
