Enjoy your son! You shouldn't complain if he's too playful, you should be happy! Find more creative ways to give him his milk, and be patient. Sooner than you know this phase will pass, and you'll long for this special moment you're blessed with right now. Relax, be patient, and enjoy mommyhood!

I used to have to cover my child with a light receiving blanket so he couldn't look around. Of course, make sure he can breathe well. And do stay in a quiet place. At 3 months he should easilly go 4 hours or more between feeding during the day and 6-8 at night. If you are feeding him more often he may simply not be all that hungry. So try adjusting his eating schedule so he will be hungry and more interested in eating.
Playing at this age is normal and will continue. He is getting past the sleepy all the time stage. enjoy

I have a 15 month old who barley stops to breath so i know what your going through. However you should enjoy him while he's little time passes by so fast when they are little and you will never get that time back. Even from before birth babies are learning about everything. It's amazing how much they retain. Dont sit in a dark room it's like punishing him.(i dont mean that harsh). He of all people knows when he wants to eat. I wouldn't worry unless he becomes dehydrated or starts loosing wieght. At which point you would need to discuss your concerns with the doc. Good luck with the new one and advice frome one mother to another don't rush the walking thing. My daughter Emily runs me ragged.

So far most of the answer I have read are great. I agree with them on the enjoying it while it lasts. They do grow so fast. Right now the only way for him to show his affection for you is to be playful. If you feel he just isn't getting enough to eat you could always pump a few bottles and alternate breast ,bottle. Try holding his hand lightly or rubbing the side of his face softly to help him relax.

I put a link up for the La leche League, it's all about breast feeding.

He's old enough to realize that's there's a whole new world out there and he's exploring it while feeding, just like he does when he isn't feeding.
Don't worry about it. Fill a bottle for him so if he gets 'munchy' and wants to eat a little bit while you're doing other things, you can give it to him and he can still explore while he eats. Turning his head with a bottle in his mouth is easier than turning it while your breast is in his mouth and a lot less painful for you. lol Rest assured that when he gets too hungry, he'll let you know about it quickly.
Enjoy him now, he's just starting to reach that fun to watch age! The facial expressions will amaze you, I know they did me when my daughter was that age.

Hes a baby the world is new to him, let him look around, and be glad he likes looking at your face. When hes hungry he'll eat, meanwhile if its intereferrring with your schedule, maybe a breastpump and a few baby bottles would help. He eat when hes ready.

he will eat if he is hungry, don't force it. Unless he is sick I wouldn't worry too much. Babies won't starve themselves. Its normal for a baby to get hungry every 2-4 hours.. Quite a time range. babies go thru stages where they don't eat alot. Its normal.. enjoy the wide eyed bushy tailed babe. now would be a great time to introduce picture books. Baby einstien videos are great for that age. nothing wrong with a little jump start.

your son is only 3 months old, he is learning many many new things around him every day. his curiosity is actually a good thing my youngest son also did this at feeding time and took forever to finish a feeding but i just learned to be patient with him and let him try to communicate with me. he is probably studying your face and that is normal for babies.it helps him get to know you and trust you. don't worry about how much time it takes him to finish a feeding. right now he should be the most important thing on your mind.and don't worry he wont let himself starve.

you're able to ought to verify with the government, yet i think of you're able to desire to have grew to become 21 on the time of sale of the alcohol ate up, so which you're able to desire to be 21 years, 3 months previous. greater significant isn't any depend if the "distinctive field" grew to become into/is clean. no depend if that's an previous motor oil field, then do not drink it. no depend if that's only an empty alcohol bottle, then decide for it.
