For some reason my computer has put a log on screen at startup and I can't seem to get rid of it! I just want the computer to startup and you know start, without having to click ok every time. I'm the only that uses the computer so it's not needed and is a little annoying! Any ideas?

You can configure Windows XP to automate the logon process if your computer is not part of a domain.
> Click Start, click Run, and type ‘control userpasswords2’.
> Clear the ‘Users must enter a username and password to use this computer’ check box.
> Click ‘Apply’.
> Enter the user name and password you wish to automatically log on with, and then click OK.
> Click OK again and you're all done.
This feature allows other users to start your computer and use the account that you establish to automatically log on. Enabling auto logon makes your computer more convenient to use, but can pose a security risk.

Go to Control Panel and click on User Accounts, click Change the way users log on or off, uncheck the Use the welcome screen.

go to control panel user accounts change the way users log on off uncheck both boxes click apply then go back and check both boxes and apply restart computer

Press 'Start' Button
Go to 'Control Panel'
Go in to 'user accounts' by double click
Click 'Change the way users logon or off'
Deselect ' use welcome screen' by removing the tick mark in the box

go to control panel then 'user accounts'. select ' change the way users log in ' amd UNCHECK the boxes. this should solve your problem.
