man's ingenuity leads to man's destruction...look at where we are going these days...from stone age to the present time...we are happy for how as man we progress in knowledge but "qou vadis tu?" Discovering new things ...wow! Inventing new gadgets...terrific! But where are we heading now? Having instant food...microweave oven...instant drinks...almost everything is instant...are all these things healthwise? Nuclear bombs and modern weapons...what for?
Is it man's ingenuity or stupidity?

Its just as well if humans want to destroy each other...the population will then decrease, food will be abundant and hunger/starvation can be eliminated.
If there's a few scattered populations surviving in distant places, then no one will be bothered to wipe the other out.

I reckon from 6.5billion we need to reduce this population to atleast 1billion. The more humans there are, the less likely wildlife and nature is to survive.

Humans destroying themselves could just be nature/evolution playing a hand?

Only certain supervillains are determined to destroy all of humanity. The rest of us are only concerned with destroying a certain person or group. The problem is that someone inevitably has picked you or your group as the thing they want to destroy. So if you both succeed, you're both dead. Now take that to the scale of the human race, if everyone succeeds, everyone is dead.

Humanity is a life form like every other life form on this planet. All life must learn. Humans have learned more than any other form of life that we know about. We have only recently, relatively, risen above the basal foundations of Nature to achieve the awareness that life also has meaning. We are ever evolving in the direction of greater comprehension of health and balance, with tidal setbacks and tidal surges of progress. The basal, or, primitive drag on our progress seems heavier these days. But, we rose above cannibalism. We rose above human sacrifice. We rose above slavery. And, we will rise above ignorance and fear and hate. It is not as important that ALL of this species rises above it's weaknesses as it is that even a few of us spike high into the greater lucidity.

I'd say that it's part of how we think. If there was some smooth way to remove the friction between our different convictions perhaps we could live in peace.

If you feel bored you can start out by trying to make the different religions become one (or preferably none), because as long as you have different religions you'll have war.
