what to do after B.A in English?

I m doin my grad. in English hons from North Bengal University.
i m not able to deside what to study next. plez help me to choose a carrer path. i m totlly confused. n plez mention the colleges where i can pursue them.

There are wide range of choices once you get post-graduation in English.....(mind you, I used PG). Once you get done with your degree, you must seek admission either to your area university or if you have that much financial ability from your own or from your parents, then have a try at Symbiosis at Pune or JNU at New Delhi as these two institutions provide not only PG with English but there are lots of activities which help the student to opt for international platform...... but again "Communication English" is much important in these days of fast pace era.
I myself have finished my degree with English and doing M.A.; but of course my line of career has already been chalked out with computers.....so there is no need for me to go elsewhere. However I simply love this langauge beyond anything else. So, if you wish to try your potential in other sectors of technology, English will help you more...virtually everywhere.

Your B.A. with English is a good auger to continue your studies in English further.English is bound to be with us for a long, long time and perhaps increaingly it will be assimmilated in India. Do you know the men speaking English in India exceed the English speaking Englishmen.So a vast field is open for you. You could do MA and even Ph.D. in English and it will stand you in good stead in your career. On the other hand if you have no interest in English as a language you can pursue govt.administration or ,if you like , business administration A command over Englishis essential in pursuring these careers. With growing globalisation English is going to have more and not less importance in Indian affairs.As regads Colleges for business administration try to get selected either.with Symbosis of Pune or Narsi Monji Institute,Mumbai. The selection is very tough but once you clear them the opportunities that would open before you would alsobe tremendous. For post-graduation or Ph.D. any good college from Kolkatta would be fine.

With a BA in English, there are really only two options.

1) Pursue a graduate degree in English and teach
2) Get a job doing something you like and that pays the bills.

ok ucan do the M.A. in English and then do the M.Ed. Then go for a teaching career in any govt. colleges in india.
