Just the sound of it makes me feel slightly queezy for some reason and If a piece of writing contains it I have great trouble reading it. I think it stems from its frequent figurative (mis)use in technical and economic terms. And an association with butter.
Anyone encountered similar problems?

no, 'rapper' is a different word from 'wrapper' with a distinct meaning.

Now that is a weird question or statement. The word "wrapper" has never got to me, it's just a word..like everything in the world. It has a word. Like a chocolate bar is wrapped up in a wrapper to seal the taste and freshness. Wrappers wrap around everything and that is just a word that is used to describe something. What more can I say. If you could change the name to anything. What would you call it, then? :S ..I have not encountered similar problems to my knowledge.

Funny, but I hate it when a friend will relate any dry or even slightly hard cake (like cold rock cakes) as being fit for dunking.
Dunking to me has that tawdry connotation to it. It was not something my Gran would allow in her house. She considered the habit bad manners and rather messy.
Maybe in my mind I relate Dunk to dung! I have no idea, but it does get to me.

I think its a good thing. The sentence of wrapper is an anagram written by a genius. Check it out. It's a cool thing - the phone.
