Yes - when you go through the transaction you will get a screen showing how much of the payment will come from your balance and a list of sources for the remainder. Select the source you with the remainder to be debited from and then you can complete the transaction.
Be aware that if you are funding transactions from a bank account / card it may be sent in the form of an e-cheque - this will take up to 5 days to clear so don't expect the seller to post your item until this clearing process is complete.
You can track progress of your payments via your paypal account page or ebay listing (while the payment is clearing the ebay listing will sho payment as 'pending')

I always advise that you attach your Paypal account to a credit card, rather than a bank account. This runs counter to Paypal's own publicity machine, which is always trying to sell you on the idea of getting "verified." But the one very tangible benefit of having your paypal account connected to a credit card, rather than a bank account is that, should the deal with a seller fall through because of fraud or failure to deliver an item, all you need to do is file a complaint with your credit card company, and they will effect a refund for you as part of their normal protection guarantee.
When I have dealt once or twice with sellers who weren't real (one immediately received an avalanche of negative feedback within 48 hours of my placing an order, and one was supposedly a child dabbling with daddy's DVD burner, with no ability to follow through with their end of our contract) I got a 100% refund from my card company. Contrariwise, when I had paid with a money order, and had to fall back on Ebay for justice, nothing happened. And early on, when my Paypal was connected to my bank debit card, and I had to appeal to Paypal for a refund, the process was slow, and the refund was only partial.
Good luck.

Yes. I can give you a link that deals with Payapl & Ebay transactions through Paypal. PayPal is one of the most popular online money transfer systems widely used for online auctions, pay to surf programs, e-books and purchase of low value goods. It is now a part of the online auction website eBay. More details available at

Yes that's exactly what they do. When you go to pay for the item you will only have to pay £20 from your verified bank card.
