I have recently cleaned my upvc windows using a cleaner and a plastic pad, one what you would use to wash up with, not the green sponge one a plastic type, however I have noticed that this plastic pad has left small scatch marks on the glass! can anyone recomend any product or a way of removing these scratches from the glass ?

Try some 'jewellers rouge' your local watch repairer will probably sell/give you some.

Plastic will not scratch glass. However the cleaner that you use can as it contains tiny abrasive particles. Once scratched they are there for life.
To clean glass use vinegar and to clean white PVCu use neat washing up liquid

There is a new packaged product out now for clearing the fogged lenses on car headlights. It's insanely expensive still and I hope they will realize that it is overpriced. I saw it at autozone.
The turtlewax polishing compound should work well enough for that application.

you can try toothpaste that is the type that has small particles of pumice and should do quite well if the scratches arent very deep.
