there is no real proof...tell me if im wrong...and how:
there may or may not be a god...but the bottom line is that there is some force ,natural or supernatural, that fuels all biological, physical and chemical reactions...but...at the end of the day... it is JUST a force of nature, just like gravity is. ultimately...like gravity...this "force" (popularly believed to be "God") is a force of nature helping sustain life on planet earth....so why should i worship it? am i right ?....if not...why??

Yes you are right. If there actually is a god, it is more than likely that "he" is something to do with the laws of physics or nature, rather that an actual being. Albert Einstein was known to have described nature and physics as "god". It's not the actual belief that "god" exists, but a personification of natural forces as "god". This is called pantheism.

The idea of a personal god (as an actual entity) was simply invented by Man as a means to explain the world around us. Why are there eclipses? Because of god. Why does the sun rise? Because of god. How did we get here? god made us. And so on.

A personal god was also useful in that it gave us a sense of purpose. Man is afraid of randomness. Man is afraid of the possibility that we are merely a cosmic accident; that life is so fleeting and seemingly meaningless. Thus a personified god was invented. It gave people a nice warm feelings inside.

Any god worth worshiping is a god who is enough above yourself to gain your respect. You do not have to be a monotheist for that. And the use of the term The Force in the Star Wars series made one very significant addition to our vocabulary: a term we can use with neuter gender. We can say It, and it doesn't sound weird in context. For God, we need to say He, and that is a limit right there. For Goddess, we need to say She, and that too is a limit. What we needed (and George Lucas provided) was a term we could use that did not require the male/female dichotomy.

Most philosophers have some familiarity with the Kabalah, however spelled. And in the Tree of Life, only the very top sphere is beyond the male/female dichotomy. All the rest lines up along gender lines because that is the single most significant fact about who a person is.

What is it to worship? Many cultures have answered that in many ways. Pagans answer it many different ways, let alone more formal religions. I am a pagan, and some would say I am a witch. I do myself, sometimes. I have a very personal use of the word "worship," which is based on my religious beliefs and practices.

Like Christians, it is best done on my knees. But that's the end of the similarity with Christians, I think.

This answer may not be popular, but I don't care.

God wants for you what you want for you. You are right -- He/She/It does NOT need nor want worship. (S)he has provided an environment for you. The rest is up to you.

Do you need to worship electricity? Electricity does not care if you believe in it. You make a decision to turn the lights on. They go on. You do not have to believe in the science. You just have to turn on the switch.

That is not to say there are not consequences for things. You touch fire, you get burned. That is the way the world has been set up. Then you spray some bactine on the wound. You get better.

God is everything. You are a part of everything, so when you worship God you Worship yourself. That is not a bad thing. But you do not NEED to.

Reality is the result of a unity, more specifically, it is a unity of consciousness. That means when a perception takes place, the "essence" of the perception is a "conscious, real event".

One may try to "atomize" the perception, attempting to break it down into a simple aggregate of localized component parts, for example, as required by a materialistic "classical reality" theory. But if Reality is not a unity of consciousness then it is an assemblage of discrete "mutually exclusive" non-conscious parts.

But Reality cannot be separated from Reality, because that creates a contradiction.

Reality must be a consequence of a coherent and conscious unity of perception.

Unity = 0ne.

AKA the mind of God.

When you see something right in front of you or being aware of anything that exist, of course you would ask...what is the reason why it exist?...and WHO made these things.
eg. the sky, universe, galaxy, stars, planet, sun, moon, human being, all the species of plants, fish, animals, human being, soul/spirit, air, wind, storms, hurricane, mountains, rocks, and million more things, etc. etc.etc.
Granting, you can answer the reason of its existence...the why?...but can you clearly answer the... WHO made it?
Even the most intelligent scientist felt awed at the marvel of the universe that that they`re helpless with words when their mind cease to answer...WHO made these things so perfect, so orderly, so beautiful that no human being can make it out of his own hand.....
If you`re too proud to announce that you and the world exist on your own...then you will never have an answer to your problem,
because of your finite brain and finite life.
But, if you ask God`s help (or say any help from supernatural being...putting your words)...and I`m sure from there, GOD will continue to fill your imagination with unreachable love, beauty, peace, serenity, joy, happiness, and all the valid reason of your existence beyond this world you live in even though you`re still alive.

Worship is a bit of a misnomer. Respect for, in awe of or thankful for might better apply. Call "it" what you will, without it what would you eat? what would make your body function? The real proof is in your own heart, this that you see in nature is but a reflection of what is in your heart. Unconditional love, humility, divine light, silence, peace. could you live with out "it". From love, with love, to love. Whistle Britches

read the bible with an oopen mind, and don't listen to someone else's opinion on what it means. make up your own mind about it.

NON-EXISTENCE BECOMES EXISTENCE ONLY IF SOMETHING EXISTS BEFORE. FOR EXAMPLE. YOU WERE NON EXISTENT A FEW YEARS BEFORE YOU WERE BORN. FROM NON EXISTENCE YOU CAME INTO EXISTENCE BECAUSE YOUR PARENTS EXISTED. IN THE SAME WAY YOUR PARENTS DID NOT EXIST BEFORE THEY WERE BORN AND THEY BECAME EXISTENCE BECAUSE YOUR GRAND PARENTS EXISTED. IF WE GO BACK IN THIS WAY TO A TIME WHEN NOTHING EXISTED IN THE UNIVERSE A CAUSE MUST HAVE EXISTED THAT BROUGHT NON EXISTENCE INTO EXISTENCE.
IT CAN BE PROVED MATHEMATICALLY AND IT WAS DONE BRILLIANTLY BY THE GREAT PERSIAN DOCTOR, PHILOSOPHER, ASTRONOMER, MATHEMATICIAN AND GENIUS " AVICENA" OR "ABOU ALI SINA" AROUND 1000 YEARS AGO THAT: "THERE IS A CAUSE WHICH IS UN-CAUSED WHICH IS UNIQUE."
WORSHIP IS NOT A PLEASANT WORD AND EVOKES BLIND BELIEF IN MOST OF US.
MAYBE WE SHOULD THINK INSTEAD THAT WE MUST BE CONSCIOUS THAT THIS WORLD HAS A CREATOR AND A PURPOSE AND WE SHOULD BE CONSTANTLY INVESTIGATING ABOUT THIS PURPOSE.

I like your scientific approach.

A person with the scientific approach will think :
I am doing my work properly as it ought to be done.

If there is no god anyway i will get benefited by the right work I am doing.

If there is a god he or she will see my sincere efforts and reward me appropiately. Naturally, God won't be so selfish or foolish to get flattered by people worshipping him 23 hours a day and not doing their work. So I will definitely benefit even if God exists.

So to a person with a scientific approach it is not important whether God exists or not. As explained above he or she will do his or her work right and properly and will get duely benefited from it regardless of whether God exists or Not !
