Congratulations, first and foremost. Your friends aren't really friends if they are jealous. Ignore your enemies - they just want a freebie. It sounds like alot of money, but has the advantage in that it won't change your life - you might think it will - but unlike a larger win, you can't pay off a mortgage with £10k - and you'd be surprised how quickly it goes if you go on a holiday, and buy a new tv, etc for example. Whatever your circumstances - i would say, buy your close family a modest treat - and invest the rest and forget about it. You will need it to fall back on one day - and most of us don't have adequeate pension provision or life savings. Pay off any debts too. Then chill out, and relax - just think what a nightmare it would have been if you'd won a million!

Its nice to be excited but don't let it control your life. Personally if I were would I would take your really friends out somewhere for a drink or a meal and apologise for becoming money obsessed and explain that you only did it because you were excited.
Now as for your enemies you need to tell them where to go, because you already know that they don't really like you and are only hanging around you because of the money.
Bottom line is you need to get your real friends back

Firstly, I wouldn't have told my friends, it sounds as if they are all jealous of your good fortune and they are not real friends to you. A real friend would stand by you no matter what. As for the enemies they're just after spending the money for you. Invest your money wisely, do not spend it on foolish things and Congratulations. I hope you put the money to good use, something you've always wanted or a deposit on a house or car maybe.

Stop pretending and be yourself. If you really have won £10,000, congratulations. If your friends don't want to be around you anymore then you're obviously being an idiot thinking you are rich. Being rich is nothing to do with money, it's what and who is around you. Having aloving family and good friends is being rich. Money is nothing - yes it helps out, but being rich? Family and friends are the best.

Personally I think you should have just kept ur gob shut about the money as it isn't a great deal.
Go and find more friends cos if winning 10k made your old friends jealous then they weren't really good friends anyway!
Oh and tell ur ultra nice enemies to p off and if they bash ur face in u'v always got the money for a face re-construction!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hmm..
first.. u should'nt tell strangers that u won, it might get u in trouble.
second.. they are ur enemies, they're just around for the money and will be gone when u run out of money
third.. r u like being so boastful or something that they become annoyed when they're around you?
just don't be too "proud" since it can be really annoying
about your friends, they'll come around(if they are ur real friends)
ask them why won't they hang out with you anymore

It's possible that your excitement has made them resentful of you because they are jealous. Personally if I won £10k or indeed any decent amount of money on the lottery I would not tell a soul.

Personally I dont think 10k is a fantastic amount to win. Maybe you should have just kept quiet about it and left it in the bank to use as and when you need it. If you start flashing the cash 10k wont last very long believe me xx

The money is causing too much trouble; give it to me and get your friends back. That will put a stop to your problems and lessen mine - everyone a winner.

You should forget about the so-called "friends" who don't stick around, and you should avoid your enemies. Go find yourself people who know nothing about your good fortune and tell them nothing, then you can find new friends. Good luck and take care.
