Faithfulness and love for each other are the best and most foolproof devices to ensure chastity.

Chastity devices are definitely legal. They are an excellent way of ensuring a man's faithfulness. They also provide women with peace of mind and a satisfying sense of control over her man's sexuality. Chastity forces the man to be focused on her needs and not on his selfish desires. I've got a feeling that the growing popularity of male chastity devices is making for many very happy women.

If you would like to be a keyholder, please contact me.

The hell it's illegal...maybe in Alabama or something but isn't sodomy illegal there too? Yeah...Well the best way to find someone would probably be the internet. Try a few fetish chats and you should come up with at least someone to talk to and maybe even get a partner out of it. People are a lot more open with their sexuality online, so you're more likely to find a match here.

If you're doing it offline, the best bet is to talk to kinky people that you know. They might know of a club in the area or could hook you up with someone.

A lot of places seem to be calling themselves "support groups." (I personally don't want to think of it as a support group. Seems to imply that I have a disease or something...) I've attached a website that has a list of some of the "support groups" according to states. These are typically more Dom/Sub groups, but if you're into it, you should check it out. Maybe just go to a few meetings and meet some people, you might enjoy it and decide to attend a party.

Hope this helped a little.

Chastity and chastity devices are, naturally, totally legal in the United States. Despite the best efforts of some, it remains you decision to you whether to spank it or not. Since we are in the men’s health section, I assume you are talking about male chastity devices. Two good resources are: (1) the Altairboy website: http://www.tpe.com/~altarboy/, which deals with both male and female chastity devices, (2) Mistress Lori’s (an evangelist for male chastity) site: http://www.chastitytube.com/.

Mistress Lori sells devices of her own design and has links to other makers. The Altairboy site has reviews and discussions about the topic in general and specific products (it also has a large section of fiction inspired by chastity devices). Altairboy also has links to all the top manufacturers. The most common devices are probably the cb-2000 and the cb-3000 (http://www.cb-2000.com/home.html). I have worn the cb-2000 fairly regularly for over five years.

There are many designs and different devices are appropriate for different people based in their anatomy and the length of their planed chastisement. If you plan to lock it up for a day or two or three every now and then, almost any of the reputable devices will do (beware cheap ones that have not thought out such things as how he will use the toilet. You’ll just end up having to unlock and relock him all the time.) It you are planning to go for more extended periods, you should think about one that allows you to wash and allows some air to circulate around the skin (a cage, for instance, rather then a tight sheath) and that is comfortable and not given much to chaffing. If he travels much, an all-plastic device will generally be easier at airports than one with metal. Many are designed specifically to be “airport safe” as it were, my cb-2000, for instance, even comes with numbered plastic locks. (Not detectable and, although easily broken, I would have to answer to my wife if the lock was snapped or had a different code then the one she put on me.) You may also want to consider that some devices are meant merely to prevent you from masturbating the erect penis while others seek to thwart erections all together. For those who are really serious, many of the best devices are designed to be secure to a penis piercing, but there are designs that do not require this for those not ready for such a thing.

Chastity devices are generally quite safe, but there are a few things you should consider as you look. First, many designs involve rings of some kind around the penis and or testicles. Like cock rings, you need to be sure they are not too tight, especially if you plan extended wear. Since keeping them too loose allows you to escape, this is a delicate balancing act. It can be made more complicated in extended wear, because you testicles pull tight and the size need can contract. As a safety measure, you may want to be especially wary of metal rings, which will be difficult to cut in the unlikely event of a medical emergency (You could be a car crash; have an allergic reaction to something you ate, etc.), plastic can be more easily smashed or cut. Among those devices meant to prevent full erection, some (such as mine) employ a strategy of keeping the penis pointed downward or curved back. I have occasionally (in a very minor number of the users I’ve encountered) known this to raise circulation concerns due to the exact size, shape, and plumbing of the men involved. If after a couple of days, your penis head starts show any blue tinge, you should discontinue use and seek a different device design. (Also, don’t panic – the spongy erectile tissue is resilient. A couple of days will not do you any permanent damage – although continuing to wear the device for an extended period would be stupid.)

Hygiene is important with chastity. Your skin needs air and cleaning. If you have a device that covers the skin completely and tightly, you probably shouldn’t wear it for extended periods. (Think of what you skin looks like after you take off a band-aid.) Also, if you let you skin get too dirty, it isn’t good for it and can increase chaffing – which is a major concern during extended wear. (It is a good idea to lotion about the edges of the device regularly.)

If you are new to chastity, or if you reenter it after a period of liberty, you will find it a bit maddening in a very erotic way. My own experience is that my energy level goes up, but so does single-minded focus. I become absorbed more easily in projects. It is great for getting that thing done, but it can mean you forget other things you had to do. I also get on edge sexually – easily aroused and tending in my thoughts to sexualize everything. There is a risk that the obsessive focus and the sexual neediness will interlock and you find yourself having wasted hours just reading porn or fantasizing since you can’t ever reach the climax that would normally send you back to other pursuits. After two weeks or so, these effects greatly fall off as your body begins to reduce the hormone output in light of your new habits. (This biological regulatory adjustment is true whether you are using a device or just old-fashioned will power or piety.) It can be harder to sleep through the night in the first two weeks as well, because of the excess of hormones. You’ll wake up in the dark from an erotic dream with a raging penis. If your device thwarts erections, this makes it even worse. After a while, you adjust however.

One last point, regarding extend chastity. It is often repeated on the Internet that occasional ejaculation is necessary for health and to ward off prostate cancer. In fact, the studies on this are not at all conclusive. Although a correlation between high levels of ejaculation and decreased incidence of prostate cancer has been found, all attempts to prove a causative relationship have failed to find one. (In other words, the decreased incidence rate may reflect other factors common among the chronic masturbators studied and be unrelated to their ejaculations.) Of course, there could be one, but we don’t know. Many folks in chastity stick to a schedule of ejaculating every two weeks to a month for health reasons. While this can do no harm, I’ve found no scientific basis for this and it seems to be folk medicine (possibly derived from Taoist teachings.) Just to make things more complicated, there is also research suggesting that frequent masturbation can have negative health impacts over time (just not that loaded word “cancer”).

Sometimes motivated by these health concerns, many people committed to denial and chastity in their lifestyles practice prostate milking. In this procedure, the prostate is massaged through the anus with the effect of the ejaculatory fluids being released from the penis without orgasm.

Not legal as in unlawful in the United States, and probably all civilized countries.
