The money shortage is not the cause (the root) of the problem! It is merely the most evident SYMPTOM of the underlying disease.
The underlying disease is "lack of character development as a person." If a person is not a person of integrity, can't be trusted, has a negative, sarcastic, excuse-making attitude about life, deceives themselves into thinking they are "doing all right" financially, all the while knowing that they really are just coasting, just treading water, not really doing what it takes to succeed, it is no wonder they do not TRULY respect themselves. And that immediately and subtly projects itself all day, every day, onto how their world will treat them. THIS IS TRUE OF ABOUT NINETY-FIVE PERCENT OF ALL PEOPLE TODAY. Only five percent of all people experience true financial freedom in life. They are one and the same as the five percent of people who cultivate their personal character development, knowing that it is beyond mere financial reasons as to why they work on "me" first. Being a better person, following the timeless truths of success that are patterned into every human being by our Creator, ensures that our relationships, especially our lifelong commitments with our wives or husbands, will be strong, vibrant, healthy, and will go the distance.

why then is it said " money is the root to all evil?" " money makes the world go round!" no money, no honey!" Why ask Why? MONEY was the root to my DIVORCE. And the only thing we did not agree about in the almost 30 year relationship? mess is how much I was to receive a month!

Because if you can't provide for a family it won't work. Two lazy people usually don't work out. One has to bring in the money or both depending on the job. Plus its stressful for one person to handle all the bills. You start to resent the person you with if you come home from work and you see your spouse in pjs watching tv. or playing videogames everyday.
