ok you may be your husbands wife
but he is not a man on the in side
gender dysterea is some thing he will never get over
he is being true to him self and is becoming the person he feels he is
if you truely love him you will let him be the person he wishes to be a better person for him self
'love has no bounderies race age gender or disablilty'
you may never be able to stop you husband
but you can still be part of his life
if you truly love him you will stand by him
he will need you and your love
with out it he will only go some where else to find it
all transsexuals need a suport network
he will want the support from you
it is up to you to show that support
and gide him/her to into her knew life

He's probably going to go through with it no matter what. If he feels it's what he needs to do; that's his decision. It's your decision whether you still want to be a part of this person's life or not: and I think you should both realize that it's ok if the context of your relationship changes. Right now you're married. That's REALLY unlikely to stay the same; you're losing your husband. If you gain a girlfriend (by whichever definition), or a sister or whatever, that's kind of your call. Or, you could run away from the whole thing.

Tell him this!

In my opinion you would regret a lot of things, least of all the loss of your wife. There's the loss of your fertility as all sex change operations actually sterilize the person operated on. You would regret having to take hormone pills for the rest of your life to carry on the masquerade. You would eventually regret that you really aren't a woman OR a man anymore, just a mutilated androgyne. I really think you'd regret a lot of things.

I think you should both be in counseling to sort this out. You married one person, and he is going to become someone else. That's not what you signed up for unless you knew this and agreed to it before marriage.

I think eventually you are going to need to divorce and move on with the feelings you have.

Good luck to you.

Well Sad thing is,, if he is hell bent on having it done,, someday you may be married to a woman, unfortunately if he wants it, and is set on it he will make that his lifes goal, and usually they feel strong enough about it that ones like you either have to accept and deal with it or move on,, I would be curious about how old you both are, ?

Me me me... why is it always "me?" Why not "him?" If he wants a sex change, he can get a sex change whether you want him to or not. If you're close-minded to sex with a female's body, then there's this thing called a "divorce." I'm surprised you haven't heard of it before considering more than half the marriages in the world end up in them.

well that depends, i mean if he really wants it, then you should let him, because otherise he could be really unhappy for the rest of his life. you wouldnt want to be responsible for that would you? but if he still seems uncertain, then he has not made up his mind, and you must try and convince him

its all upto him, not you.
if he wants gender reassignment surgery, then he has been thinking about it most of his life so you will not be able to stand in his way i am afraid
