I have been too tired to sleep before, but it would have probably been due to a different reason than yours.
A lot of people are recommending ambien, but I don't like it because it leaves me with a hangover, and I don't like chemicals too much, although I did have good luck with lunesta once.
I think the chamomile tea is a good choice, as well as tylenol PM.
Best wishes for you and your husband. I have a feeling everything will be alright with him.
Rest well.

Poor girl, I couldn't even imagine what your going through. Try and get into bed and maybe read or lie still with your eyes closed and think about the great times you and your Hubby have had and all the great things yet to come in your relationship.

yes, you are stressed, try to relax, and focus on something else, or turn on the light and write your husband a letter and tell him how much you love him, and how much you will miss him and how you look forward to him coming back, seal the letter and put it on his side of the bed and try to sleep, or take one of his shirts and sleep with it. Good Luck, I will keep a good thought for him. Simper Fi USMC- 231 years old 11-10-06 ooh rah!!

If you think about falling asleep, you're not going to fall asleep.
Think about something else and time will seem dimensionless and you will fall asleep unknowingly.
however, dont think about stressful things because you'll actually tell your body to spend energy staying awake to think about it.
Also, a normal sleeping schedule lets your body know the right time to get tired.

Yeah, like right now ... so tired I can hardly see what I'm typing, but if I go to bed, I toss and turn.
Time for the Ambien!
(try it ... it'll change your life)

yeah it happens sometimes, guess you're worrying about something that's why you can't sleep. Drink some chamomile, it should help you relax.
