It's a little strange...I'm not saying that they wouldn't be great doctors, it's just how do they decide one day " yeah, my dream job is to look at women's vaginas"? hey, when I put it like that , doesn't sound too bad.....mmm..

A lot of Gynecologists are also Obstetricians as well. They may love babies and want to see them come into the world. Maybe some of them had someone they loved die from some kind of Cancer and they wanted to devote their lives to helping other women to heal them or prevent the same thing from happening to someone else. Of course I cant help but think of the guys in high school that always thought they were funny by saying they were going to be Gynecologists when they grew up. I bet they are sorry now, after seeing 20 stinky infections a week and 90 year old patients too. Not to mention that most of their patients aren't 110 pound supermodel lookalikes.

If I have been going to be a doctor i could % it over being a podiatrist or dermatologist. the female anatomy is a complicated and exciting situation. I quite do not think of they do it so they might get fired up over women folk's bodies all day long. I ought to admit, male obstetricians and gynecologists are undesirable attractive to me, whether they don't look to be lots to verify. They delight of their status, the money, and the affection of their sufferers.

What makes a person want to become a proctologist, or a podiatrist, being a ob/gyn is not about looking at vagina's it is a medical specialty, concerning everything from yeast infections, to std's and preventing cervical cancer.

Yes I have thought of that many times!
But you see, we think like that because we are girls! With guys it is a completely different story!
The only explanation would be that they are so eager to get into their mother`s womb again!
(sorry for that, but I wonder if they have an erection each time they see or touch a vagina... I wouldn`t want my doctor to crave me! It is gross!)

i heard there was really a man gynae...so there is nothing wrong with that...besides its a profesion and they have some etiquettes to follow...if someone decided to pursue a carreer just for petty reasons, i guess that person will never succeed.
