REGGAE star Sean Paul has revealed how the brutal murder of a close friend inspired him to write new album The Trinity.
In an exclusive interview the 32-year-old singer confessed he is alarmed by the level of gun violence in his home town of Kingston, Jamaica, and is using his record to make his opinion heard.
He told us: "I’m very scared about the level of gun violence in Jamaica. People are being killed and the country is getting poorer.
"As a singer I have a voice and feel a sense of responsibility to make my opinions heard."
