It took place in a carnival, there were 2 girls and 2 guys as the main characters. Something in the plot line involved a stolen something (gem maybe) hidden in a stuffed prize at one of the booths.
My friend mentioned that she really loves this movie and I want to buy it for her birthday if I can find it. :)

I remember it but I can't name it. One of the girls had spiky hair and I love you written on her underwear.

It's on the tip of my tongue so if I can recall I will email you... but, in the mean time you can do a deductive search on imdb.com....first put in 80's movies and then do a search from there. "carnival, gems, etc." ... good luck.
