they have had an emediate attraction to yahooanswers. if you think of it the people with the mose points started long ago and, lon ago ther were fewer people thus there were greater oppertunnities to rack up those points. now its harder and not everyone has unlimited amounts of time to send giving people answers to questions. you see people arent going to answer your questions for free. they need some sort of compensation for there time and these points are what they use. and its fine by me... however i just answers questions because i can relate or i feel i may have a good answer. i dont need the points unless i have several questions to ask! in which i do. it just taks me a while to think of them. anyways im going off in a tangent... there really is no need to be so competitive about yahoo answers its free to the public and all its doing is growing the yahoo franchise and keweping ambitiuse peope infront of there computers blocking them from the real world and good fortunes! this has alot more meaning than you think. there is so much more to this rambling than there may apear!

Well, you're a level 4, so you must have some idea. I have a feeling it's people who have nothing better to do. Or perhaps its computer freaks who have figured out a system for adding points. Or it could be people who repeatedly sign on and off. I'm not sure, but it is interesting now that you point it out...

i'm sure there's some collusion going on but then again i don't know how long answers has been up they might be alpha/beta testers who kept thier points which would be fair what would not be fair(i don't care either way) is if they made 2 accounts(probably more which will make it look less suspicious) and kept giving themselves the best answer

Like the elite athletes in the world, they have to give up their life to accomplish their goals.
