Dear Sir
There is no longer a Miss Lilly Johnson at this address. She was dismissed for unlady like conduct involving the photo-copier, a mop handle and that nice young chap on his work experience program.
She is therefore no longer an assistant anything, but we can say that she, along with the mop handle and YTS chap did look remarkably co-ordinated on the CCTV footage we all saw.
Your application as assistant engineer will be forwarded to the photo-copy machine company, as we believe that there is some liquid damage to the internal components, and they may need help getting it out.
