Rob Zombie killed them all.

Really, I think that the concept finally wore out. People can see the lack of musicianship after a while and go back to quality. Boybands had their place but you just can't replace a true musician with an image. This is the same reason that many groups fade out and 81 year old BB King still does 250 shows a year.

maybe People are bored with this kind of music that brought by a boybands. I think it's better for some boybands to play an instruments than just singing a song that make people get bored when they saw it.

Backstreet Boys are still together and making music. However, Kevin Richardson did leave the group to pursue other interests. But Brian, Howie, Nick, and A.J. remain together and say that Kevin is always more than welcome to come back if he wants to. I am a huge fan of BSB and have been for over 9 years now.

Nsync, as far as I know, just kinda seemed to dismember. Justin has his own solo career and JC is trying to make one for himself. Lance just announced to the world that he is gay. I don't know about Chris or Joey. I used to like Nsync, but now I don't like them as much. I still like some of their songs, though.

O-Town seemed to just kinda fade away. They didn't have the success that BSB, Nsync, 98 Degrees, and others had. I never liked them, but I did at one time like one of their songs called All Or Nothing, but I got sick of it after a while. The only member I have heard anything about of them is for a while now is Ashley Parker Angel. I guess he is working on a solo career now.

I don't really know about 98 Degrees. I like them and have for a long time now. Nick has his solo career, but as for Jeff, Justin, and Drew, I have no idea. I think Drew appeared on Dancing With The Stars and won the show.

BBMak seemed to kinda fade away like O-Town. I like BBMak, but I haven't heard anything about them for a few years now, so I don't know what is going on with them.

Westlife used to be 5 guys, now they are only 4 because one left the group to do his own solo thing. They also seemed to kinda fade away. I like them as well.

I don't really know of any other modern boybands that I can say anything about. But I know that BSB is pretty much the only modern boyband that is still around and still making music.

Well,
After one of them ripped off the bra of Janet Jackson at the superbowl, Boybands were outlawed because they were eroding the minds of outr youth on pain of having to listen to Disco music for the rest of their natural lives!

The age range they were aimed at grew up and lost interest. The age that they would have then targeted probably got introduced to other music, thus creating a void for the industry.

the music died out, espically because most those guys are either gay, or end up just doing solo albums, so now those guys just skip the Boyband aspect and just cut right to the solo albums.
